Beth McClure M.Ed.
President and Owner of Multisensory Learning Associates

Beth McClure M.Ed. is licensed in learning disabilities, special education, elementary education, and as a reading specialist. She also is licensed as a Principal and Special Education Administrator. As an experienced teacher trainer, she has taught graduate level courses in reading, assessment, and learning disabilities. Ms. McClure has worked with students in public and private schools, maintained private clients, and has done educational evaluations.

Ms. McClure is a Fellow and the current President of the national organization Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners and Educators. She has been an Orton-Gillingham Practitioner since 1993, originally training under the mentorship of Emi Flynn.

Ms. McClure is a frequent learning disabilities advocate for dyslexic students and their families. Her volunteer work in the field includes serving on the Board of Directors of the New Hampshire branch of the International Dyslexia Association.

She cofounded the Strong Foundations Charter School in Pembroke New Hampshire in 2007. Strong Foundations’ mission is to demonstrate the effectiveness of using the Orton-Gillingham approach at the elementary level in order to significantly increase the national average of students reading proficiently by the fourth grade.
